2020 Goals!

Every time I write "goals", I accidentally write "goats". Same difference, right? :)

I have a lot going on this year. I'm excited to see it all happen, but I want to set some clear goals for myself. I am signed up for Linear Appraisal and am going on Milk Test. I plan to attend a show. It's been five years since I started raising Nigerian Dwarfs, and maybe I'm moving a little slower than some, but I AM moving!

Performance-related goals:

1. Participate in Linear Appraisal and Milk Test.

2. Attend at least one show with a few does and my yearling buck, Rufio.

3. Earn stars for at least Biscotti, Jazzie, and Bunny (4*, 5*, and 6*), and Europa (2* and *B for Rufio). Maybe more, but those girls are my priority.

Management-related goals:

1. Milk daily, have the tools I need to do so.

2. Do blood tests to prove my herd is clean.

3. Get better at hoof trimming.

4. Check and fix tattoos (I'll have to do that anyway!)

I'm pretty excited about all this! First babies will start arriving in about 8 weeks!
