Rufio at 2 years old

I purchased Rufio's dam bred to Jethro (I've met him, we are on a first name basis) and I was so excited when this whopper of a buckling was born. I think he's quite stunning! His first kids are looking beautiful, and I'm pleased with how he's maturing. He is very deep-bodied for a young guy!

His FF daughter is looking gorgeous. Very long with a socked in udder and plumb teats.

*Update, 2022. After a really rough six months, we made the decision to put Rufio down. I'm sad because he was such a promising buck and I like what I'm seeing from his young daughters. However, he had a pretty serious leg injury last year, which caused him to have a limp. It was obviously giving him pain, and made him sort of a punching bag for the other bucks. Then he had a bad round of parasites (probably stress induced) and while we got him through that, I didn't feel good about keeping him or selling him or leaving him in pain. I found a nice person who would humanely butcher him so he could nourish someone's family. It sounds weird, but this option, I feel, is the best outcome of a rather awful situation.
